Rosa Gabbert is a director and filmmaker based in Paris, originally from Düsseldorf. She studied at ESEC film school and has worked in various roles across the film industry, including the camera department, production, and post-production. Through her short films, she explores visual storytelling with a focus on texture, intimacy, and everyday moments. Working with analog film and tape video, she captures fragments of daily life, often drawn to autobiographical themes—family, dreams, and human relationships. Her work moves between fiction and experiment, always searching for new ways to tell stories.

Her short film Zeitbegriff was showcased at the New Zealand Doc Film Festival.
